"Eye Level"

"Oh there, I remember!" This is the first thing that came to me after seeing the question "How do you grasp the light?" - the essence of photography, to capture the light, to create a memory. And to reimagine the expression, I created a series of printed photographs of repeating the process - capture, fold and print from one subject to another in an orderly sequence of appearances.

Eye Level is a progression of imagining semblance and creating resemblance; capturing the original subject to create a new one. The photographs produced an illusion of depth of light and shadow. For Fiat Lux, the smaller version folded prints will be given to the participants who signed up for a mailing list. They can observe, investigate and photograph the series of photos using their camera (SLR, DSLR, phone camera) and create their own semblance.
